Day 1 : Arrival in Dijon

Dijon welcomes you. Wander the beautifully preserved medieval centre, take in the half-timbered houses, and follow the Owl’s Trail to landmarks like Notre-Dame and the Palace of the Dukes. Enjoy a relaxed lunch of classic Burgundy dishes paired with a local Pinot Noir in a cozy bistro. Spend the afternoon tasting wines along the Route des Grands Crus or walking through nearby vineyards, finishing the day with sunset views and a glass of Crémant de Bourgogne.

We will meet for a briefing session and welcome dinner.

Day 2: Hike through Burgundy Vineyards to Chateau Clos Vougeot

After a short transfer to Gevrey-Chambertin, you set out on a scenic walk through Burgundy’s vineyards, moving through villages like Chambolle-Musigny and Morey St. Denis. The day concludes at the historic Château de Clos Vougeot for a relaxed wine tasting lunch, followed by a transfer to your hotel in Vosnée Romanée.

Day 3: Cote de Nuits Vineyards

Today offers a choice. Transfer out for a moderate loop walk through the wooded hills west of Nuits Saint Georges, or stay closer to town with a visit to Le Cassisium to learn about blackcurrant liqueur, or simply settle into a local café and watch the day unfold. In the late afternoon, return to Vosnée Romanée for the night.

Day 4: Leisure Day in Vosnée Romanée

Today is yours to shape in Vosnée Romanée. Start with a quiet morning walk through the surrounding Grand Cru vineyards, with views of storied sites like Romanée-Conti and La Tâche. Enjoy a relaxed lunch in a nearby village, pairing classic Burgundy cuisine with a well-made local Pinot Noir. As the day winds down, take an easy walk through the Côte de Nuits and settle in for sunset as the vineyards catch the evening light.

Day 5: Hiking through Vineyards to Beaune

After breakfast, a short transfer brings you to Fussey, where today’s walk begins. The route winds through quiet oak forests and past the wine village of Savigny-les-Beaune before opening up toward Beaune. You arrive in Beaune, the heart of Burgundy’s wine country, with time to explore its historic streets, markets, and cafés at your own pace.

Day 6: Explore Beaune at Your Own Pace

Spend the day walking at a relaxed pace, exploring the Montagne de Beaune and the surrounding paths just beyond town. Balance your time outdoors with a visit to the famous Hôtel Dieu with its patterned roofs, or a stop at La Maison Fallot to learn about Burgundy’s mustard tradition and enjoy a tasting.

Day 7: Market & Cooking Class in Beaune

Today is a shared food day in Beaune. Begin with a guided shop at the local market alongside Terroirs by Adeline, selecting seasonal ingredients and learning how locals shop and cook. From there, head into the kitchen for a hands-on cooking experience, finishing with an early dinner together featuring the dishes you have prepared.

Day 8: Vineyards and Premier Cru Wines of Meursault

Today’s walk takes you through the Premier Cru vineyards of Beaune, Pommard, and Volnay, moving steadily through some of the region’s most celebrated landscapes. The route leads you into the village of Meursault, where you visit the renowned Château de Meursault for a wine tasting, with time afterward to wander the village and settle into the slower pace of the afternoon.

Day 9: Explore Mersault

Today is a walking day shaped by ease and rhythm. Begin with a gentle walk through Meursault’s village streets, then continue out into the surrounding vineyards and countryside paths. Pause for a relaxed lunch at a local bistro before heading back out for an afternoon walk among the vines. The day winds down naturally as you return to the village and take in the evening light settling over the vineyards.

Day 10: Journey ends

After breakfast, you roll back into Beaune. Trains hum toward Paris. Roads lead elsewhere. Burgundy loosens its grip, but not its imprint. The journey continues, just shaped differently now.
