About Coaching Circles
Our four-week coaching circles are designed for honest, insightful conversations that help us rethink, recalibrate, and grow. Each week, for 90 minutes on Zoom, you’ll be part of a small group of 6-10 people, all here to explore ideas, challenge assumptions, and support each other’s learning. Our learning platform organizes any pre-reading so you can dive right in, equipped for meaningful dialogue. With both day and evening options, everyone has the space to contribute, reflect, and leave with practical takeaways that reshape how we approach work, relationships, and life’s bigger questions.

This pause, this shift—it’s not the end. It’s the beginning of something new, and often challenging to navigate on your own. The Pause is a space to gather, make sense of this profound transition, and embrace the strength that emerges through perimenopause and menopause. With guidance from Dr. Jessica Shepherd’s Generation M, we’ll dive into evidence-based insights, lifestyle tips, and actionable steps that can help us not only navigate but thrive in this stage of life. Together, we’ll honor the changes that shape us and lean into the possibilities they open up.

This circle could be for you if ...

This group is for anyone experiencing perimenopause or menopause who wants to feel more informed, empowered, and supported during this season. If you’re noticing changes in your body, energy, or emotions—and you’re looking for a space to explore those shifts with empathy and understanding—The Pause is for you. Dr. Shepherd’s approach combines clinical insights with holistic guidance to help us thrive, not just survive, through this period.

The Format: Here's how it unfolds

How Long Will We Meet?
We’ll gather weekly for four sessions, each lasting 90 minutes. This setup gives us the time and space to unpack perimenopause and menopause thoughtfully and to support one another in real-time. Meeting weekly lets us build momentum, share our experiences, and explore how to integrate Dr. Shepherd’s evidence-based tips into our daily lives.

What Specific Challenges Will We Tackle Together?
Guided by Generation M, we’ll address the multifaceted challenges that accompany this transition—from managing symptoms like mood changes and sleep disruptions to redefining how we care for our physical and mental well-being. Dr. Shepherd’s book provides up-to-date, scientifically backed insights on hormone replacement therapy (HRT), exercise, nutrition, mindfulness, and more. Together, we’ll explore these topics, discussing what has worked for others and discovering personalized approaches that support our health, energy, and vitality.

What Will Our Sessions Look Like?
Each session will begin with a grounding reflection, creating a supportive environment for open, honest conversations. We’ll dive into group discussions that blend Dr. Shepherd’s medical insights with personal experiences, exploring topics like HRT, nutrition, fitness, and self-care practices. With weekly readings from Generation M, we’ll ground our discussions in Dr. Shepherd’s empowering and accessible approach to menopause, enriched by the perspectives of experts she draws upon in the book. Our sessions are designed to leave space for laughter, questions, and genuine connection, helping us learn from each other as we create a path that feels right for each of us.

How Much Effort Will I Need to Invest Before and After Each Session?
Plan for 45-60 minutes of reading from Generation M before each session to prepare for our discussions. After each session, give yourself time to put new techniques and self-care practices into action—whether it’s a small shift in your diet, a mindfulness practice, or a new approach to exercise. Dr. Shepherd emphasizes that this journey is about building sustainable habits that honor your well-being. This isn’t about “doing more” but about creating intentional pauses that help you thrive.

There’s a kind of magic in midlife—a mix of grit and grace—and I feel deeply honored to walk beside people as they step into this phase. In our group coaching sessions on “The Pause,” we get real about perimenopause and menopause, these often-hidden experiences that carry so much power and wisdom. It’s a space for showing up, being seen, and navigating change together.
