About Coaching Circles
Our four-week coaching circles are designed for honest, insightful conversations that help us rethink, recalibrate, and grow. Each week, for 90 minutes on Zoom, you’ll be part of a small group of 6-10 people, all here to explore ideas, challenge assumptions, and support each other’s learning. Our learning platform organizes any pre-reading so you can dive right in, equipped for meaningful dialogue. With both day and evening options, everyone has the space to contribute, reflect, and leave with practical takeaways that reshape how we approach work, relationships, and life’s bigger questions.

Boundaries—they’re not walls to keep people out but doors that swing open to what truly matters. In this session, we’ll explore the sacred art of saying “no” and, more importantly, how each “no” creates space for a deeper “yes.” Inspired by Henry Cloud’s Boundaries, we’ll learn how setting limits is an act of self-respect that not only protects your well-being but also strengthens the integrity of your relationships. Boundaries aren’t about exclusion; they’re about inviting in what aligns with your values and intentions.

This circle could be for you if ...

This session is for anyone who has ever felt stretched too thin, struggled with overcommitting, or felt drained by the pressure to please others. If you’ve found yourself wishing for more time, energy, or clarity in your relationships, this session is designed for you. As Henry Cloud reminds us, boundaries help define where we end and others begin, offering clarity about what is ours to manage and what is not. This coaching circle will empower you to reclaim your energy and time, nurturing stronger, healthier relationships through the art of boundary-setting.

The Format: Here's how it unfolds

How Long Will We Meet?
We’ll gather weekly on zoom for four sessions, each lasting 90 minutes. This structure allows us to dive deeply into the principles behind boundaries, while practicing these skills in real-life scenarios. Our pace will ensure you feel supported, inspired, and never overwhelmed as you integrate new habits of self-respect into your daily life.

What Specific Challenges Will We Tackle Together?
We’ll address the core challenges highlighted in Henry Cloud’s work: the fear of disappointing others, learning to say “no” without guilt, and handling the discomfort that can arise when people push against your boundaries. Together, we’ll discuss how to respond when boundaries are crossed, ways to handle difficult individuals, and the emotional toll of unclear or absent boundaries. You’ll gain practical tools for reclaiming balance in your life, supported by boundary-setting techniques you can rely on.

What Will Our Sessions Look Like?
Each session will begin with a teaching moment, drawing from key principles in Boundaries. We’ll then move into practical exercises designed to apply these ideas to your life, using real-life scenarios—from family dynamics to workplace interactions—to illustrate how boundaries empower you to live more freely and intentionally. Each week, we’ll incorporate brief readings from Boundaries to anchor our discussions in Cloud’s insights and spark deeper reflection. We’ll also leave time for group discussion and personal sharing, allowing you to learn from the collective wisdom of the group and discover what boundary-setting methods resonate most with you.

How Much Effort Will I Need to Invest Before and After Each Session?
Before each session, plan for about 15-20 minutes of reading from Boundaries to deepen your understanding of the concepts we’ll discuss. Afterward, give yourself an hour each week to practice setting and reinforcing boundaries in your everyday life. Think of boundaries as a muscle that grows stronger with regular use; as you practice, you’ll gain confidence and clarity, making it easier to integrate these tools into your relationships and routines.

The Benefits

What you'll walk away with

You’ll leave with a clear understanding of how boundaries can protect your values, time, and emotional well-being. As Cloud emphasizes, boundaries are not about restriction but about creating a healthy space for genuine connection. You’ll develop practical strategies for setting and maintaining boundaries, allowing you to navigate relationships with confidence, clarity, and respect. Expect to walk away with the skills to say “no” without apology and to communicate your boundaries in ways that invite understanding and mutual respect.
